The Straight Answer Promise
You get a written estimate before we start, a real person on the phone, and an honest answer if a job needs a licensed specialist instead of us. No vague quotes, no upselling, no disappearing after the deposit. If something about the work is not right, tell us and we will make it right.
The fastest way to reach us. Tell us what needs fixing and where, and we’ll talk through timing.
A quick description of the problem and a photo if you have one — it helps us give a more accurate estimate over the phone.
We’ll schedule a visit, give you a written estimate on site, and get to work once you approve it.

Send us the details of your project and we will get back to you with a real answer.
Reaching out shouldn’t feel complicated, and it shouldn’t take three phone calls to get a straight answer about whether we can help. Whether it’s a single repair or a longer list of things that have been waiting for attention, tell us what’s going on and we’ll tell you honestly what it involves — including whether it’s something we handle or something better suited to a licensed specialist. There’s no pressure and no sales script, just a real conversation about your house.
Contact FAQs
How quickly will someone get back to me?
Calls and texts are usually answered the same day. If we’re on a job and can’t pick up right away, we’ll call back as soon as we’re free.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We’ll talk through the job over the phone or in person and give you a written number before any work starts — no cost or obligation to get that estimate.
Do you offer same-day or emergency service?
For urgent issues like active leaks or safety concerns, call directly and let us know it’s urgent — we’ll do what we can to get to you quickly, though availability depends on our current schedule.
Should I call or text?
Either works. Texting is convenient if you’re not able to talk or want to send a photo of the issue. Calling is often faster if you have questions you want answered right away.
Do I need to be home for the estimate visit?
For most repairs, yes, since we usually need access to the specific area involved. Depending on the job, some estimate conversations can be handled over the phone with a photo instead.
Can I reach out about more than one repair at a time?
Yes — this is actually common. Let us know everything on your list and we’ll plan a visit that covers as much of it as possible in one trip.

A Closer Look at What Happens When You Reach Out
The first conversation is really just us listening. Tell us what’s going on — a dripping faucet, a door that won’t latch, a whole list of things that have piled up since you moved in — and we’ll ask a few questions to understand the scope before talking through timing. If it’s something we can reasonably estimate over the phone, we’ll give you a ballpark. If it’s the kind of job that really needs eyes on it first, like anything involving water damage or a repair where the visible problem might not be the whole story, we’ll set up a time to come take a look.
Once we’ve seen the job, or talked through it in enough detail over the phone, you get a written estimate — not a verbal number that turns into something different once the invoice shows up. That estimate covers labor and materials separately, so you know exactly what you’re paying for on each side. Nothing gets scheduled until you’ve approved that number.
On the day of the appointment, we show up in the window we agreed on, do the work, and clean up before we leave. If we run into something during the job that wasn’t part of the original scope — which does happen occasionally, especially with older homes — we’ll stop and talk it through with you rather than just doing extra work and adding it to the bill afterward.

What Happens After You Reach Out
When you call or send a message through this page, the first step is a short conversation about what’s going on — what needs fixing, roughly how urgent it is, and any details that help us come prepared. For most jobs, we can give you a rough sense of cost over the phone, though the firm written estimate always comes after we’ve actually seen the work in person, since guessing at scope from a phone description alone tends to lead to surprises for everyone. We’ll schedule a visit at a time that works for you, walk through the job together, and leave you with a written estimate broken out by labor and materials before anything gets scheduled.
We serve homeowners throughout Dayton and the Miami Valley, including Kettering, Centerville, Oakwood, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Trotwood, Riverside, and Bellbrook. If you’re not sure whether your project is something we handle, reach out anyway — we’re happy to tell you honestly if a job falls outside handyman scope and point you toward the right kind of specialist instead of taking on work we’re not suited for.
Text messages and phone calls both work well for reaching us. If you’re texting, a few photos of the issue are genuinely helpful and often let us give you a more useful initial estimate range before we even schedule the visit.
