Honest Scope, Every Job

The Straight Answer Promise

You get a written estimate before we start, a real person on the phone, and an honest answer if a job needs a licensed specialist instead of us. No vague quotes, no upselling, no disappearing after the deposit. If something about the work is not right, tell us and we will make it right.

Four Steps, Start to Finish

1. You Reach Out

Call or text with what’s going on. We’ll ask a few questions to understand the scope.

2. Written Estimate

You get a real number before anything is scheduled — labor and materials itemized separately.

3. The Work Gets Done

We show up in the agreed window, do the job, and clean up before we leave.

4. Final Walkthrough

We confirm the repair meets your expectations before we call the job complete.

The First Call: What We Actually Need From You

You don’t need to diagnose the problem yourself before calling — just describe what you’re seeing. A cracked wall, a door that won’t latch, a faucet that won’t stop dripping. If you can send a photo, that helps us give a more accurate phone estimate, but it’s not required. We’ll ask about your general location, how long the issue has been going on, and whether there’s anything time-sensitive about it.

If it’s something we can reasonably estimate over the phone, we’ll give you a ballpark right away. If it genuinely needs eyes on it first — which is common for anything involving water damage or a repair where the visible symptom might not be the whole story — we’ll set up a time to come take a look, with no obligation to hire us once we’re there.

The Written Estimate: No Surprises Later

Every job gets a written estimate before we start — never just a verbal number that turns into something different on the invoice. That estimate breaks out labor and materials separately, so you can see exactly what you’re paying for on each side. If we’re on site and discover the job is genuinely bigger than expected, which does happen occasionally with older homes, we stop and talk it through with you before doing any additional work. Nothing gets added to the bill without you knowing and agreeing to it first.

On the Day of the Job

We show up in the window we agreed on. If we’re running behind for any reason, we’ll call ahead rather than leave you wondering. We handle the repair, clean up the work area, and walk through the finished job with you before we consider it complete. If anything doesn’t look right, tell us — we’d rather fix it on the spot than have you discover an issue after we’ve left.

Process FAQs

Is there any cost or obligation for an estimate?

No, estimates are free and come with no obligation to hire us. You’re free to compare it against other quotes before deciding.

What happens if I’m not satisfied with the finished work?

Tell us during the final walkthrough and we’ll address it before considering the job complete — we’d rather fix an issue immediately than leave it unresolved.

Do I need to be home for the whole job?

For most repairs, yes, since we typically need access throughout. We can discuss specifics based on your particular project.

How do you handle payment?

Payment is due upon completion of the work, based on the written estimate you approved beforehand — no surprise charges.

What Happens If the Scope Changes Mid-Job

Sometimes a repair reveals something beyond what was visible during the initial estimate, like discovering water damage behind a wall once drywall is opened up. When this happens, we stop and talk with you before doing any additional work, explain what we found, and give you an updated estimate for your approval. You are never billed for surprise work you did not agree to, and you always have the option to have us handle the additional scope or bring in someone else for it.

After the Work Is Done

We walk through the completed work with you before considering the job finished, so you can point out anything that does not look right while we are still on site. If something comes up after we leave, whether it is a follow-up question or an issue with the repair itself, reach out and we will make it right. That is not a marketing line. It is genuinely how we handle it, because a repair that does not hold up is not actually finished.
